The mission of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is to contribute to the achievement of security and justice for all by making the world safer from drugs, crime, corruption and terrorism. UNODC Regional Programme for Southeast Asia and the Pacific 2022-2026: Indonesia Segment outlines UNODC's strategic vision and cooperation with the Government of Indonesia to address the challenges of transnational organized crime, corruption and economic crime, drug trafficking and use, and terrorism in Indonesia, the region and the world.

In line with UNODC mandates, the Indonesia Segment of the Regional Programme responds to these challenges through five inter-related outcomes:

  • Responding to the production, trafficking and non-medical use of drugs
  • Preventing and responding to transnational organized crime and trafficking
  • Preventing and addressing corruption and economic crime
  • Preventing and countering terrorism, including financing and the spread of violent extremism
  • Fair, effective, accountable criminal justice systems

The UNODC Regional Programme Indonesia Segment aligns with the Indonesian Government’s National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN), the United Nations Sustainability Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF 2021 – 2025) and the relevant international conventions and resolutions on drugs and crime.
