Sub-Regional Workshop for Central and South Eastern Europe on Cooperation against Terrorism and Organized Crime, organized in cooperation with the OSCE, to be held in Budapest, Hungary, 12-13 November 2008.

 

AFRICA

Sub-Regional Workshop on the preparation of responses by Northern and Eastern African countries to the United Nations Security Council Committees dealing with counter-terrorism, organized in cooperation with the Expert Groups of the three United Nations Security Council Committees dealing with counter-terrorism, to be held in Nairobi, Kenya, 11-13 November 2008.

 

MIDDLE EAST & NORTH AFRICA

Regional Workshop for the League of Arab States on the new international instruments against terrorism, to be held in Cairo, Egypt, 17-19 November 2008.

 

LATIN AMERICA & THE CARRIBEAN

Sub-Regional Workshop for the Caribbean on Terrorism Financing, organized in cooperation with OAS/CICTE, to be held in Kingston, Jamaica, in October 2008 (date to be decided).

Follow-up Expert Working Group Round Table on the Development of a Manual of Terrorist Cases for Practitioners, to be held in November 2008 (venue to be determined). Senior counter-terrorism prosecutors from about 25 countries are expected to attend this meeting.

National Workshop on Specialized Training in the Prevention and Fight against Terrorism and its Financing, to be held in Guatemala, in November 2008 (date to be decided).
