Activities

The UNODC has designed and implemented a programme of technical assistance for drug control and the fight against crime in West and Central Africa. Operational priorities revolve around three principal agendas:

1 � The fight against trafficking and organized crime, including the fight against:

� drug trafficking

� trafficking in human beings

� trafficking in arms and ammunition

� trafficking in natural resources

2 � The global challenge, particularly:

� research and analysis

� prevention

� reintegration

� HIV/AIDS and reintegration

3 � Strengthening the rule of law:

� the fight against money laundering

� the fight against corruption

� the fight against terrorism
